In recent news Heather and David Robertson reported their mutual interest in cosmetic and plastic surgery procedures, so they decided to do it together, like they have done most things for 18 years, since they met and got married.
Both feel that time has been on their side when it comes to marriage and raising four children, but time has taken a toll on their bodies, so they decided to do something about it – as a couple.
In a quote, David Robertson referenced his wife who has had four kids, and stated, “if anybody deserves a tummy tuck, I think she deserves to get one done.”
For moms who have had multiple pregnancies and children, abdominoplasty, breast augmentation and liposuction are three of the most popular procedures included in a mommy makeover.
David admitted to gaining 50 pounds over the years, and going from 135 to 185 pounds. Not only did he lose muscle mass, with the weight gain (as do most people with age), but he felt he lost the better image of himself over the years. He was not thrilled with the double-chin he acquired and wanted to restore his image for himself and his wife, so he opted for chin lift surgery.
They viewed this as a new chapter in both of their lives.
“I know we are still young but we are getting older, and this is just another new chapter, another new adventure,” proclaimed Heather.
Surgeons are seeing more couples teaming up for cosmetic surgery procedures, as denoted by Dr. Anthony Youn a Michigan-based board certified plastic surgeon.
“A lot of couples want to play together, they vacation together … now they are having surgery together, too,” concluded Youn.
