If you ask most people, they think of plastic / cosmetic surgery as a women’s domain. Not so, more men are having plastic surgery than ever before. What are their complaints and which procedures are the most popular? Drum roll please…
1) Beer bellies: Men’s number one complaint (not that women are especially fond of them either). Spending time ‘with the boys’ has a tendency to lead to beer drinking, and excess weight in the stomach region. So, when men lose weight, they are turning to tummy tucks and liposuction to remove excess skin, fat and tighten up the abs.
2) ‘Moobs’: Gynecomastia, aka ‘Man Boobs’. No guy wants to have a flabby chest, or larger breasts than his female partner or friends. It’s embarrassing, uncomfortable and unmanly – so, many men are getting breast reductions and liposuction to trim the area back to where it belongs
3) Muscle definition / Contouring: Men build muscle much easier than women – but, even those who work out a lot do not always achieve the exact results they are looking for. Others simply do not have the genetics, or the time to spend. To address these issues, they are investing in Liposuction / liposculpture to remove love handles and provide more muscle definition.
