Smile! Did you used to just love posing for pictures with your friends? Was it something you looked forward to – jumping in and hamming it up whenever someone pulled out a camera? Then, all of a sudden, it was like there was this line drawn in the sand – and you stopped enjoying it? The pictures just didn’t look ‘like you’ anymore, and you found yourself shying away from cameras, and group photos? Did you feel like everyone else, but you, looked great in the pictures?
There are times when we don’t look or feel our best. It’s understandable not to like our pictures if someone takes a snapshot when we wake up and have ‘bed hair’, or when we have just finished working out. But, if you find that you just don’t like ANY of your pictures, anymore – can you pinpoint why?
Is it under-eye circles or hollows? Wrinkles? Acne scars? Crooked nose? Thin lips? Uneven skin tone or sun damage? Droopy eyelids, jowls or corners of the mouth? Not that we should sit around and ‘pick ourselves apart’ –but, gravity, age, accidents or illness can change our looks. Regardless of the reason, we all want our image to reflect the person we feel like, inside – there’s nothing wrong with that. If you want to “look like You again” – schedule an appointment with a board-certified plastic or cosmetic surgeon to discuss possible procedures…and Say Cheese!
