OUCH!!!! You’ve broken your nose. Quick, grab some tissue, a steak and head for the ER or doctor – to reduce your chances of looking like a boxer or former hockey player. Once there, they can check you out. In some cases, your nose can be set on the spot. If that is not the case, you may be looking at nose surgery. If you were considering a nose job before this happened…it might be the time to have a few modifications done, while it is being repaired.
‘Gun-shy’ about getting a Nose Job?

Rhinoplasty was one of the first, and is still, one of the most socially-acceptable procedures in plastic surgery. At least most of the world is comfortable with it. Apparently it is taboo in certain regions. Newly elected Egyptian legislator, Anwar al-Bikimy was expelled and forced to tender his resignation after leaders of his political party, al-Nour, found that the bandages on his face were not the result of a beating by gunmen, as they had been told; but, were after-care for a nose job. It is hard to imagine a place where having plastic surgery could cost you your job. Luckily, we have no such societal restraints in our country. Having nose surgery is OUR choice, and it should be! Our sympathy goes out to Anwar al-Bikimy. We hope his new nose looks fantastic!
Nose Job Requests: A Little Levity

Prospective nose job patients have many celebrities they mention when visiting their Otolaryngologist for a rhinoplasty consultation. To be sure, however, there are many stars and examples that are the antithesis of what is surgically suitable and deemed attractive. The most important factor, when considering a nose job is finding a qualified surgeon who will shape and refine your nose to suit your face and features.
How Much is a Nose Job?

There are many things to consider before having a plastic surgery procedure, especially the costs. Nose job surgeries, otherwise known as rhinoplasty procedures, can be expensive, and the costs can vary for many reasons. In addition, depending on whether it is medically necessary or cosmetic may also dictate insurance coverage versus paying out-of-pocket.
