Dr. Michele Koo, did not receive consent from her patients prior to posting the images. More than 40 of her patients ended up online and several found their images when they searched their names in Google. The lawsuit claims that Dr. Koo was negligent in posting the photos.
Dr. McNemar, a Board Certified, California plastic surgeon who is a co-author “Your Complete Guide to Breast Augmentation & Body Contouring” shares his concerns for women considering “lunchtime boob job: procedures. There are risks associated with the filler substance Macrolane, used in this non-surgical procedure, and he suggests that FDA approved implants offer more flexibility than other options for adding volume to the breasts. “With the wide variety of implant sizes and shapes available, we can achieve beautiful, proportional augmentation that complements a woman’s figure, no matter what her body type.”
