
Medical weight loss, gastric sleeve and bariatric procedures are popular ways to help men and women lose a lot of weight. In many cases these procedures are at least partially if no fully covered by medical health insurance plans to help patients manage their weight and live healthier lifestyles, after surgery. The biggest complaint after these procedures is excess flab and skin, post-surgery. Most patients did not realize or know about their options for tummy tuck, liposuction and body to help get rid of the loose skin. According to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, 75% of weight reduction surgery patients did not know about cosmetic treatments such as body contouring. Nearly one-third of the patients polled said that cosmetic procedures were too expensive, because they are not covered by health insurance.
